So I just got back from my first Web Summit that took place in Lisbon last week. Before going, as a novice I had some misconceptions as well as some expectations that turned out to be true. Sure, Web Summit is known as the biggest, greatest tech conference in Europe but there are things it is and it isn’t. It’s important to know why you’re going and what you’re going to get out of it before you spend your precious time and money on immersing yourself in the experience.
